Plaquemines Wanted List Search
Start with the PPSO Most Wanted page. The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office runs it and gives visitors first and last name fields, a Name search, Current and Arrested views, plus newest or oldest sorting. The roster stays small, and PPSO posts no schedule for updates and keeps no stated retention period.
Treat the list as a selective public notice. It is not a register of every warrant issued in the parish. Someone can be the subject of a warrant and never appear there at all. Stale or mistaken entries can happen too. PPSO's own disclaimer says errors occur, and it directs corrections straight to the sheriff.
Plaquemines Fugitive Listing Fields
The live interface sets expectations quickly. Search and status controls sit right on the main page. Detail pages, though, can shift from card to card. Check the agency page itself rather than assuming every entry carries a full biography.
| Field or control | What it means |
|---|---|
| First and last name | Search terms and the basic identity shown for a selected entry. |
| Current | PPSO presently displays the entry as wanted; it does not establish guilt. |
| Arrested | The public interface has moved the entry from Current status. Confirm later custody separately. |
| Newest or oldest | Sorts the agency’s posted entries, not warrants parishwide. |
| Detail link | May supply an official photo or charge text if PPSO has published it. |
Note: A missing detail field does not prove that PPSO or the court lacks the underlying record.
Use Plaquemines Wanted Listings Safely
Browse the official source with one narrow purpose: compare the posted name and status, then hand what you know to trained personnel. A public notice is not permission to launch a private investigation.
- Open the PPSO Most Wanted page and select Current or Arrested.
- Enter the first and last name, or sort the visible cards by date order.
- Open only the sheriff’s detail link and read the current agency wording.
- If you recognize someone, note the location without approaching, following, or confronting that person.
- Send the information through P3 Tips or call an official tip number. Call 911 for an immediate threat.
- After a reported arrest, use the Plaquemines Parish custody and booking guide to distinguish current custody from a past listing.
The photographs stay on the PPSO site. No face image or wanted-card gallery appears here, and visitors should not repost one anywhere either.
Plaquemines Wanted Page View
The official PPSO wanted interface shows the filters and cards in use. Check it at the time of any search.

This view documents the search route only. The live PPSO page stays the authority on current status and any official photograph.
Plaquemines Fugitive Tip Channels
PPSO links the P3 Tips route for information on wanted people and public-safety matters. Sheriff material also lists 877-903-7867 and 504-822-1111 as tip and contact numbers. Follow the terms shown by the live tip service. No standing reward or blanket anonymity promise is confirmed, so treat neither as guaranteed.

Check a Plaquemines Parish Warrant
A warrant check is not the same task as browsing wanted cards. No verified PPSO portal returns every active warrant for free. Plaquemines Parish Criminal Records is the documented official route for an arrest-warrant record. The 25th Judicial District Clerk can supply related case context.
- Start with PPSO Criminal Records and identify the person carefully enough to avoid a namesake error.
- Ask for an arrest-warrant record. PPSO’s published fee schedule lists $25 for that record.
- Call the Criminal Records Division at 504-934-6808 if the written route or required identifying details are unclear. Assistance numbers 504-934-6812 and 504-934-6810 are also published.
- Use the sheriff’s public-records portal for a written request when directed. A result may be subject to lawful limits or redaction.
- Open the 25th Judicial District Clerk e-search for case context. Do not treat that service as a certified live-warrant return unless the clerk confirms it.
- If the warrant may concern you, contact a lawyer or the court and arrange a lawful response. Do not rely on an unofficial site or attempt to avoid service.
This route separates an official records answer from guesswork. Absence from the Most Wanted page proves only that PPSO had not listed that person there.
Keep any written request narrow enough for records staff to act on. Give the full name and any other known identifying facts. Say the request concerns an arrest-warrant record, and hold onto the ticket or response PPSO supplies. If the office reports it cannot release a document, ask which office created it and whether a lawful restriction, thin identifying detail, or something else controls the answer. A records reply describes what the office can confirm at that moment. It does not replace advice from a lawyer, an instruction from the issuing court, or a later update to the case file.
Plaquemines Warrant Record Types
The requested record and its case context matter more than any generic label. An arrest-warrant record request fits what PPSO supports, but the issuing court or agency holds the precise authority and current status.
| Term | Safe way to verify |
|---|---|
| Arrest warrant | Request the official record from PPSO Criminal Records and confirm the issuing case. |
| Bench or court warrant | Ask the 25th Judicial District Clerk or counsel about the court file and current instructions. |
| Most Wanted entry | Read the current PPSO card; do not assume it represents every warrant. |
| Arrested entry | Check current custody through LAVNS and later case events through the clerk. |
A warrant can grow out of a court process or a law-enforcement investigation. Only the responsible government office can confirm whether it remains enforceable and what lawful step comes next.
Plaquemines Wanted Alerts App
PPSO announced the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff LA app in July 2026. Named features include Most Wanted, tips, traffic and public-safety alerts, a sex-offender registry, and a live traffic camera. The App Store listing confirms the app identity. The sheriff says Android users can find it on Google Play under the same name.
The app is one more path to sheriff notices, not a substitute for the warrant-record process. PPSO's announcement does not promise a jail roster, a full warrant database, new-booking cards, or booking photographs. Check a named person through Criminal Records and the relevant court instead of drawing conclusions from an alert.
Correct a Plaquemines Wanted Entry
Spotting a mistake on a wanted listing? Fix it at the source. The PPSO Most Wanted disclaimer states plainly that the sheriff makes no promise of accuracy and asks anyone who finds an error to report it to the office. Reporting matters. Copied pages, search hits, and social media shares tend to linger long after a status has changed.
Gather a few details before you call. Note the exact PPSO web address, the name on the entry, and the status it displays, then take the issue straight to the sheriff's office. Arguing with the person listed helps nobody, and neither does reposting the entry. When the dispute really centers on the underlying court case, the clerk's criminal case route or a lawyer is the better path.
Plaquemines Fugitive Case Outcomes
Once someone is arrested, the wanted list no longer tells the full story. Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure article 230.1 generally calls for a first appearance without unnecessary delay and within 72 hours, subject to the law’s treatment of weekends and legal holidays. That framework does not guarantee a particular hearing time.
The 25th Judicial District record may later show arraignment, amended charges, dismissal, acquittal, plea, conviction, sentence, diversion, or another event. Check the matching case and identity before connecting a disposition to a wanted card. News wording and booking allegations can change as prosecutors and the court act. The court record, not a screenshot of the original notice, provides the later procedural result.
